Mixed media anyone?

So it's the last day of a long weekend.  My latest favorite trend is mixed media.  Who knew the obsession I had while a little girl was placed in my heart for a reason.  So what is mixed media you ask?  It's simple!  You use more than one medium to create, for example, say I'm making a mini album (my latest craze), I use paper bags, my fave Prima scrap paper, acrylic paints, ribbon, any other media I would like to use.  You probably are already doing mixed media and you didn't even know it, now it just has a fancy name.

So go to your crafty area and dig up all your crafy stuff and create.

New way to use seam binding tape

So I was watching the great Heidi Swapp one day as she was doing a tutorial on one of my FAVE subjects.....mini albums!  So as she finished the project, she used Hug Snug seam minding time in off white.  As we said in the 90's, "oh my gosh Becky ".  So I researched on eBay and found may sellers that sell this stuff in all beautiful colors.  I got myself the "chalk white " color and it is gorgeous ladies!  I have 100 yards which will last  me for may years.
